boulders and leveling an area of rock for
new building projects. Using its front end
loaders, the company reclaims aggregate
from stockpiles and distributes them onto
a worksite or loads them onto a truck trail-er
for hauling.
Recently, the company began offering
all asphalt and base work including patch-ing,
driveways, parking lots, cleaning and
patching.
Chamney says that the quality work his
company does while offering these services
has helped establish a solid customer base.
“What keeps our customers coming back
is that we complete the work in a time-ly
manner without needing to be super-vised,”
he said. “There are times where we’ve
moved in and crushed and moved out and
the customer doesn’t even know we’ve been
there. They don’t have to micromanage.”
When heading to a job site, Chamney
says his company is proud to be bringing its
own materials.
The company offers gravel in various siz-es,
from large rocks to finely ground piece,
and variations such pea gravel, river rock
and crushed gravel. With each type of grav-el
having advantages and disadvantages,
Chamney says his team can help customers
determine which gravel type will work best
for their application.
Chamney Crushing also offers crushed
rock aggregates for use in both commer-cial
and residential applications. This mate-rial
can be used with cement and water to
create concrete, as bases for roads and oth-er
paved areas and in construction projects
to provide drainage, fill voids, protect pipes
and facilitate water filtration and sewage
treatment. The company also offers sand in
coarse and fine varieties. Its mixes are suit-able
for any purpose, from filling a sandbox
to construction.
